This ad says they only work on 93-04 bags... any ideas if they will work on newer (09) models?

Here is what I decided on after seeing some pix from other folks. I concurred with most that thought the stock hinge worked best with the lines of the saddle bag. Thanks for all of the input.

To each his own though. I'm sure there's ALOT about my scoot people can't stand.

I tend to agree with brypink about the flow. The stripping on the bags concaves out just below the latches but the back edge of the latches convex in. (I may have confused the convex and concave but hope you get my drift). For me, this disturbs the flow.

No matter what, if you use them you are NOT wrong. Like brypink said to each his own.

I think they would look really good if you powder coated the originals or those a gloss black to match the frame and paint.......just my $.02

Nah....... they look good on your bike. They definitely work better on a solid color.

You made the right choice, in my opinion...
those big latches draws the eye to them... away from the center of the bike and makes the overall look appear unbalanced, especially with the 105th emblem on the tank, to me that and the motor is where the focal point should be. much better, you did good!!

They pull too much attention to themselves, they are different from the way the rest of your bike is presented. The latches are nice but they just don't look right on your bike. The bike as a whole is a nostalgic look and the billet just does not flow with the rest of the bike
