I say go with gloss black originals for shape and color symmetry. With or without reflectors, either way looks nice in black... powder coated of course! Here's a shot of what I'm talk'n about.

I think you should get rid of them, they look terrible! Just send them to me and buy some that look better

J+p has the chrome inserts for about $30.00 a pair.

Haven't searched E-Bay yet to find those Rod has. Those black grooves on his look like they may mimic the cylinder fins better than the Drag Specialties set.

By the time you've finished reading all of these opinion posts your going to be back where you started. I think the billetd latches look good and give the bike contrast along with the wings on the side of the gas tank.
