Have you considered the liability that comes with selling parts?

Better be careful.

You just never know.

Hope you sell a million of them...just cover your *** for the one that fails and decides to sue you.

That was my first thought when I saw this thread! It may be perfect, but that may not matter when someone decides to sue.

Not meaning to be a "buttinski"..but what exactly does this "stablizer" do? Is it necessary? Why wouldn't Harley have already resolved this and installed to begin with, if there is a problem?

Sorry...just was curious.

Thanks.

looks good , have you felt any increase in vibration since adding your brace ?

i think alot of us guys are concerned about this when we see these bagger braces , we want the better handling bike but don't want the extra vibes .

Default stupid question

Im one of the 90% that have never experienced a "wobble". I commend you, Aaron, for your inventiveness and obvious mechanical skill. My question is...how is the brace attached to the frame? did you drill holes? If so, would that void the warranty from HD??

The Wobble? I can reproduce it in any sweeper over 55mph. It helps if the road surface has some irregularities. If you haven't experienced it, you ain't going fast enough....

Ok............to answer some guys questions! As far as liabilities on a product like this, there are about 6-7 different manufacturers making these things. The whole reason I made my own is because I get tired of getting screwed with the aftermarket pricing. These would have to come with a disclaimer of course, but they are tried and proven throughout the industry as working!

NO, you don't have to drill any holes to mount this thing. It uses existing holes and mounts up in about 20-30 minutes just lying on the floor! It would void no warranty.

To the guys that don't know the dreaded rear-end wobble! You either aren't paying attention, or you know no better. No offense by that! I came off of sportbikes and I love the Harleys to death, but they are very unrefined in the way they handle! They feel totally loose in the back-end. That's why they changed the frames for '09. Now that I have the rear-end problem solved I will start working on the front-end.

As far as more vibration.....riding no, sitting idling at a stoplight, yes a bit more!

Thanks for all the great comments.

Aaron
