I had 518's on my Road King. I really like the fit and finish of the Wild 1's, so looking to put a set on my 09 Ultra. The 575's are considered the bar for this application, but I'm worried that at 34.5", they may be a bit wide.

Has anyone installed the 575's? What do you think about the width?

Also considering the 517, which is supposed to be for Road Glides. Curious if they would work on the Ultra?

I have the 575's. I won't own another Electra Glide without having a set on it.
IMO, they are perfect.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a little concerned about the width. I don't want the bars to stick out past the fairing. The width of the stock bars isn't bad, but I want more height and pullback.

 

I have at set of 575s on my Street Glide. Great bar and is probably what you are looking for; however, I have bought a set of Klockwerks ERGO bars for my 09 Ultra. I have not put them on yet but they look like they will be even more comfortable than the 575s. They make three types. I bought the ERGO-up bars.

Let me know what you think of the ergo bars after you install them. I checked out their website, nice bars, but look to be 1" diameter. I'm really partial to the 1 1/4" of the Wild 1's, but haven't made a final decision yet.
