Does the baffle come out with the screw on the side? Does it make a difference other than louder ? Thanks AL

The baffles will slide out when the screws are removed. It will take some effort due to rust.I have found a lot of rust in mine when I replaced the modified baffles that were in the used set I bought.
I would not reccomend running without the baffles, this will de-tune the pipes.

Once you pull the baffles out, they're just open-pipe megaphones.
