Default New Women's Helmet

FYI FYI FYI:

HD's new helmet for the girls, "Womens Bling Skyline 3/4 Helmet" ,advertises that it is made for a women's head..........BE AWARE.......it apparently isn't the cure all for all women!! My wife had problems with helmets causing reddness and pain in the forehead area after about one hour of wear, just what this helmet is supposed to prevent. We are still searching for a helmet she can wear comfortably. This one didn't fit her any different than the three regular helmets she had prior to this one!! I am not saying they didn't change something when they made this helmet; I am saying that I think they over hyped the changes they made. At least that is what our little experiment proved. We couldn't tell any difference!!!

Not every head is alike... Take a large socket Press Hard and roll out the hot spots. It will compress the inner liner a bit... Have to do this for the wifes helmet every time as well as mine a few times...

+1 on this. I have also used a ball peen hammer to lightly "massage" the tight spots as well.

The Women's Skyline helmet didn't fit my wife either. She found a Jet II helmet that fit her.

Thanks, I'll check those out. I have done the socket thing, the ball peen hammer thing, and even melted it with a lighter, and she still complains. I know you are supposed to try one on before buying it. But I don't know anybody that ever wore one around a store for an hour, which is what she would have to do to really know it fit or not. I will check out the Jet II.
