You eventually drop it, it gets scratched, you start covering it with stickers, it rolls away and gets scuffed up even more.
Just try to keep that helmet pristine as the day you bought it, but after the first scratch it just doesn't matter. Hey maybe chrome

 

Yea ! And when you get a new one you look like the new guy all over again.

 

I have both, flat black is so much better.

 

Hey, turned out to be a pretty popular post uh? Thanks to those that actually gave some constructive feedback, and to those that didn't...geez get a life. I've never had a straight black helmet, so the pros and cons of flat versus glossy and how they wear and look over time was very helpful. Thanks for the input.
