My vote is for flat black. The finish on my helmet dosen't feel like paint. It almost feels like rubber. I haven't got a rock chip or a scrtach yet.

along the same lines, what about leather? I saw a nice leather one the other day that fit me well, if I get another RKC w/ leather bags (mine's totaled right now) then that would be cool, don't know how hard it would be to take care of, guess same as the bags, right?

I like my gloss helmet. A few nicks and scratches don't bother me. If anything a few scars on your helmet make you look like someone who really rides and not a model in a catalog.

I'm telling ya, the carbon fiber is light, comfortable, and has a different finish so you don't worry about nicks, scratches, and dings. I just upgraded my shortie, my 3/4 and my full. So if you're interested in buying gloss in xxl let me know

is this a serious question? if it is, I need to find another place to hang out. buy whatever the f*&(k helmet you want, don't open a damn poll for it.
