Default Air Pressure in Rear Shocks

I am wondering what air pressure folks are running in their ultra's. I am running around 10 pounds when I be solo (225 pounds) and 25 pounds with the passenger.

I run mine at 15, seems to be a good fit for switching back and forth between solo and 2up around town.

out on the road I run them about 20 for 2up

300lbs for me and always solo. Mine leak some so I put in 30lbs. every 3-4 weeks. I can tell when they leak down too much when the bike starts to wag a bit in a turn.

I keep 20lbs in for both solo and 2 up. seems to be a good average for both although I could probably use a couple more pounds for 2 up.

One other time this discussion came up and I wrote down the numbers people gave. I then took the average of all the numbers which were as follows: 1 up = 12 psi 2 = up 17 psi.
This gave me a good starting point. I now use 1 up = 13 psi and 2 up 19 psi. BTW if your shocks bleed off then there is a problem with the shock system (hoses, shocks, or air valve!)

You are either a large dude or you like a stiff suspension. My lower back would be broken at 20 to 30 lbs. That's like a hardtail with a solo rider.
