Can someone tell me if the Sundowner deep bucket seat for 08 Road King also accomodates a rider backrest??

 

I can't answer you specifically, but my Sundowner on my '06 EGC takes a backrest.

look in your parts and accessories hd catalog, there are two main versions of one. the first is adjustable with a remote for about three bills, the other is somewhat adjustable, and is cheaper. there is a slot in the sundowner that the upright goes through for the backrest. any harley dealer will give you the parts and accessories catalog, it's a freebie, and lots of good information for anything you might want through hd for your bike. but be prepared, once you open the book, you're gonna be wanting all the cool stuff for your harley.
