HD Performance Mufflers for Street Glide??

HD Performance Mufflers for Street Glide??
Hey Guys,
I have a 2006 Street Glide and a buddy had a almost brand new set of the Harley Performance Mufflers that have a slash cut at the back and I see are in the Harley Accessory Book for $329.00, also included he gave me the Harley K&N Air Filter Kit that I think is called stage 1.
I want a nice Harley Sound, are these good sounding or not loud enough?? I have an Appointment Tuesday to have the Harley shop install them both and do the factory download to make the fuel injection correct for these..
Advice Please??
I have never heard these and can still get something else, I want a nice sound, not too loud, just a nice Harley Sound..

Rick, I have 98 B's on my bike, not sure of the stock number on the pipes you are looking at, but if it ends in 98B you should be VERY happy with the sound. Very deep, mellow sound and they will bark on throttle. I had V&H Big Shots on my 05 bike and really like the SE slipons much better. GL with the mod.
Also, spend the money for the SERT, the download is a waste IMO.

Ditto! Great sounding exhaust. Stay away from the HD download it's garbage. Go with the SERT or PCIII w/dyno tuning to get the best performance from your mods.
The SERT comes with some maps on the disc included with the SERT/PCIII also, plus you can find some online.
