Did I read that right, 5W20? I hope you are living at the Arctic circle! That motor should have been making more noise than a bunch of drunks at a new years party! Did you read your owners manual about recommended oil viscosity? I want to think like nearly 100% of the forum members are running some kind of 20W50 synthetic along with the rest of the HD owners!

 

I meant 20w50, I only ride in Texas, and its late....

 

At what rpm on a decel are you hearing this whine?

 

tomorrow ill put her back together and ride it till it breaks and then ill fix it.

But i really do appreciate the help from every one, I'm just tired. if it gets worse than maybe the dealer will have an input, and if not I'll be talking to yall again in the future.

Now, after reading through all the replys, in your op you clamed it was a high rpm decel whine. Now you say it is like idleing! Are you a troll or just confused?
