Default Is a heated seat worth the $$$?

Hey everyone,

I am scheduled to ship my seat to mean city cycles at the end of the month to get it reshaped and put a gel pad in(their Supreme modification) and am wondering if I should go on ahead and get the heated seat option. I have never had a heated seat in all the years I've ridden a motorcycle but it can be added for $105 extra. I'm thinking that I may want to try it but was wanting to know if anyone has had a heated seat and if it is worth the $$$. I can ride year round in my area but temps do get down into the 20's on occasion.

I had the heted seat added when Allen re-did my seat. I have used it a few times, and it doesn't get that hot, but it is a nice feature to have when the temps drop and/or it is a cool damp day or night.

I have a heated Corbin and love it!
My friend thought I was nuts with the heated seat,
but found them so comfortable in my Caddy's that
why not try one on a bike?
The Corbin has 2 heat settings, and man that thing will get nice
and toasty! It's especially nice when riding in the rain, and on
those brisk fall rides. I wouldn't buy a seat without it now.
You will not regret it, IMHO.
If you azz is warm, then the rest of you is warm too.
I don't use it that much, but when I do need it, I am very
happy to have it.
Peace

Thanks guys. I'm thinking that I may just go on ahead and get it done while they have it.

i dont have a heated seat, so i can't speak specifically on that. but i do have the heated over pants by gerbing. now those will keep you toasty and a lot more coverage than just the seat.
