Howdy Ya'll!
Well, it's almost that time of the year again, Biketoberfest 2008 in Daytona Beach, FL. Running October 16th to the 19th. How about we plan an HD Forums "Get Together" so as we can all get acquainted in person!!! If we can determine how many here are from out of the state of Florida that are coming and how many all total, we can plan a location in or around Daytona Beach to make a meeting place and time(s). I can mark the determined location as to make it easier to find. For all those that can't make it this year, we will have a drink in your honor. Well, let's get the ball rolling. Any ideas on planning this shindig, let's hear'em.

I never know how these things work....say, we meet at 'Cancun Lagoon'
on International Speedway Blvd. (a resterant/bar near the race track). How does anyone know who anyone else is? I can't imagine walking into the Iron Horse Salloon
or Boot Hill and picking out anyone unless they had identifying shirts or something.
It always sounds like a good idea.....I just don't know how it works.
I live near Daytona.....so I am always here.

 

We're in! I'm two hours south. Not sure what day we'll be there yet, but it would be nice to put a face to everyone. Although we'll be spending the morning testing '09s!

 

Just look for guys and gals wearing leather, riding bikes, and drinking beer. How many of those can there be?

What about an identifing mark such as an orange wrist band?
And what about a place out of Daytona a little such as the Deck Down Under? A big place with lots of covered parking under the bridge. Maybe we could meet under the bridge at some set time.

 

Just say where and when and I am in. I will be the guy riding a Harley. I live only 30 minutes away.

I'm in. I say "Dispatch" comes up with a meeting place then send messages out to all those who responded to his post. Some people can join up and ride in if they live close together. I noticed Dispatch is in N. FL. So am I. (Near Jax)
