Picked up the seat today for $230 brand new in the wrapper. I came home and it bolted right up. Sooooo the 08 seats will fit the 09's without any problem. Same front hardware and the rear seat bolt lines up perfectly.
I doubt the front and rear attachment points were ever the issue. How it rests on the frame, and weather any areas are rubbing paint (tank, side covers, fender) would be my concern.
