I would wear a rain suit if I could find one that fits. Don't care how good it is, if it don't fit it ain't worth a hoot!!!! If I could find a way to keep my crotch dry with my chaps I would be happy!!!! : )

Was looking at the HD rain suits yesterday. After some chat with the salesman and trying a couple on (can't do that online), I think I'll be going with the Mens Overpass II Rain Jacket and Pant set or the Packable Rain Jacket & Pants. Little pricey but then again, so was my bike.

I'm 6'2", 200 lbs and normally wear a XL shirt. When I tried on the Mens Overpass II Rain Jacket, the large seemed to fit well leaving room for a light coat underneath and sleeve length with arms extended covered wrists. Slightly over my gloves. Was wearing a polo shirt at the time and had plenty of room. When I go back, I'll try it on again with my HD denim coat on and check fit.

The nice part about the HD rain suits is that you can try them on whether you get them from that dealer or order online. I'd suggest you do the same but will chime in when I do another fitting.

Default rain suits

For those of you that DID order a rainsuit online, did you size it to wear over your leather jacket? From Wisconsin, we need jackets here.
Thanx

Wow! Thanks everyone! This thread is full of great information and advice. You all certainly steped up to help out a fellow rider. I will be going to the dealer to get the bike serviced tomorrow and, as per your advice, I will be trying on the rain suits there. My wife has graciously told me to get whatever I need.

Hmmm...I think I need chromies too!!!

Thanks Again,
nate

For what it's worth, Frog Toggs now have a iron on heat shield patch. You can order it on their website.
