Default Front fender reflectors on Ultra

Picked up my 09 Ultra last week. I dont care for the reflectors on the front fender. What is underneath them? Are they just glued on? If I take them off, will there be any holes, etc?

Thanks,
Rick

Road King trim will cover the light holes on the fender, the refectors on the forks just stick on with tape.

Sorry, I meant the reflectors on the trim rail attached to the fender. I'm good with the light on the front of the fender itself.

Haven't seen an '09 parts book or this mod done on one, but on previous years the reflectors attached to the rubber bumper are glued on. When removed, the rubber will have two small dimples corresponding to the molded "studs" on the back of the reflectors IIRC.

Personally, I prefer removing the chrome/rubber bumpers on front and rear. Simple mod and cleans up the ends of the bike IMO. If you remove the rear bumper, you would need the bracket used on the RG and SG bumperless fenders.

If I remove the front bumper, will there be any holes showing in the fender?

No holes for the bumper, but the refectors on an 09 should be on the forks. At least the ones on the H-D site are that way.

Nope, mine are on the plastic bumper, just below the front of the front fender.

I removed the rubber bumper from the rails and put the chrome rails back on... Still thinking weather or not to remove the rail all together.

Any pics of the fender trim removed... Does it look more like a street glide?
