get going- it won't take as long as you think to get past the break-in period. Having to ride and break-in your bike is a good excuse (don't push the issue) to get out of doing a few things around the house!
CharlieZ gave good advice on the DVD, also, pick up a service manual- just reading through it will get you more familiar with your scoot. There is a ton of info (some you will use and some you won't) in the DIY and tech forums- all will help you come to know and love your scooter.
And it is OK to take one last look at her in the garage before you go to bed and again first thing in the morning. Yep, still there and still mine!
