This is what keeps me from getting any kind of stabilizer that uses the dog bone. Not that I am sure I am going to get any kind of stabilizer. I use the J&S and like the fact that it fits right into the cross member. Don't wanna have to worry about riding up on boards or lack of stability.

Exactly. "If" I get one it will be the TWR unit for that very reason.

Not sure what a J&S jack is, but I never used the crossmember for jacking anyways, always go just in front of it.(ever tried to straighten one to remove a pan???) U have to be careful of the Tour Pak bikes though. The true track and most other stabilizers aren't an issue then.

I have a TrueTrack on my bike. I use it every time I ride! I only jack the bike up every now and then, so have adapted my jacking to suit. Ain't worth changing the brace just because the jack isn't perfect!
