Default Tour Pak lid liner part #

Awhile back there was a part number for a liner for the lid of the tour pak that will keep the nuts from the luggage rack from scratching helmets in there. Did a search and can't find it, and it's evidently not in the catalog. Anyone happen to still have it???

I saw some in the J&P catalog. And you could buy just the lid liner for about $39. I can't find it online, but it's in the new catalog. Good luck.

HD Part # 53280-08 is for the SE liner. It is solid black though, but works well. Was 52.80 from Chicago HD. I had problems getting it for 2 months from CHD. Try someone else to order it!!!!!

For the money ($28) I don't think you can beat the one mentioned by 100THRK from Touring Expressions. I got one for Christmas and was very impressed with the quality and I like the fact that it is no a plain design. You can get a color/pattern that compliments the color of you bike.

That's fine if that's what you like. I prefer to keep it simple and match the bottom liner. But that's just me.

Here's a TIP when installing any lid liner. Take some sandpaper and scuff up the plastic a little to give the tape something to grab onto.
