Default RK to RG conversion has begun (COMPLETE)

Well I got some of my parts needed for the conversion (thanks to gliderman) and decided to start on the project. All I am waiting on are a few more parts (from hoz88) and we will be in full swing. The biggest challenge is going to be wiring the whole thing. I have about talked myself into leaving the RK guage that is on the tank in place and filling the existing holes on the RG fairing with additional speakers. I think then I will use the RG guage assembly that holds the tach and sppedo for something else. The assembly needs to be there but I need to fill those hole with something. Any ideas? Anyways, here are a few pics to get started with.
This is the way it is now.

You're brave !!! My hat's off to ya !!!! It'll be a killer ride when you're done. You'll go out to the parking lot and there won't be 30 bikes just like yours.
Didn't someone recently put a RoadGlide fairing on an Ultra?

I made my cobalt blue '06 Road King standard into a cobalt blue Road Glide. All new parts, including upgrading the 88 to a 96 and the 5-speed to a 6. Took about two weeks to get all the parts in, and they were fully assembled when I got them. Cost was just over $4k, including tax, registration, and a new factory warranty. (The Road Glide is an '07)

tna1000 great job so far, can't wait to see the finished project. I have been thinking of doing this myself to my Street Glide. Can you offer any help in the way of part numbers or just what parts are needed. inner and outer fairing, and the mounting brkt to the frame and the engine guard, those are he basics that I know I need. I have all the gauges. I thought I heard that there was a wire harness that adapts from an electraglide. Any nfo will be appreciated.
