I too had a Nomad and had wanted to tour it up some, but then I took a good look at the Ultra and that was all it took......

riding a metric bike is just like phucking a fat ugly chick. It's OK until someone you know sees you doing it!

is that a radiator, or a rice steamer behind that front fender??

just shows you that the aftermarket is pretty sparse for the nomad.

He's on two wheels and having fun...that's what counts most.
Agreed. I was to the point with my Road Star that the only way to make it better was to do that.

Too much money to sink into a bike that will only be worth about 6-7K even with all that done.

I found the real thing to be a better idea, but sure won't rip him for doing it!

I just don't have the patience for all that.

If the guy got what he wanted, after what looks like a HELL of a lot of work, then good for him. I don't care what someone else rides, I only care about what I ride. If someone is happy on a Wing, V-Max, or ZX-14, good for them, sez I. My ride isn't 'better' than anyone elses ride. It's just MY ride. End of rant.

It doesn't matter what he does to it and now matter how we feel about it. All that matters is if he likes it and he rides.
My other bike:

And yes I do love the 106 hp and 114.6 tq.

At least it is different not like a lot of store bought made to fit, made to look like everybody elses....sound familiar all you guys riding your
Year -2006 (or whatever year)
Make - Store Bought V-Twin
Model - Me Too
Accessories - Store Bought Ready Made Bolt on (or rather pay someone to bolt on cause I don't know how) what he/she has on theirs.

FYI you guys are sounding just like the peeps at the kawasaki forum
when anyone even mentions Harley the bashing begins...So what's next??

Do we start the who to wave at who to help on the road based on their ride crap??

Who's a real biker by what they ride vs how they live??

Can we start a loud pipe vs Sunday sermon thread?

Wouldn't be my first color choice and seem like a bit of "junk in the trunk"
but definitely a little different take on a Nomad. Nice rides..
