To each there own, the tour pak looks like crud though. There are many nice bikes out there these days and if i had the $$ I would have a nice selection. So far my 2 favorites are the 07> RK and 06> Goldwings.

But all in all....given a chance, I would ride it.

 

Some of us are old enough to remember when the OLD style VW beetles were on the road.
You could buy KITs that made them look like Rolls Royces or old '32 Ford Model A's.....
They were still VW's......but you made them your own.
Nobody harped about "Someday you will OWN a Royce!" Bikes are pretty much a hobby to most people. So I think the guy done good.

 

Like I told a guy who said I was stupid for buying a Harley when his Kawasucky looked so much like a Harley. "You can go downtown and find something that looks a lot like a woman. That's good enough for some guys. Me, I gotta have the real thing!"

 

Actually, it's quite clever. Like it or hate it, the execution is pretty good.

A fair amount of "cash" and a ton of "engineering" went into it.

It may not be what you like, but is is well done for what they wanted to achieve. And to his credit, he did not put any Harley logos on it.

Remember, mimicking/copying is the sincerest form of flattery.
