Red face A Question for you Road Glide owner's with GPS

Just took delivery of a 09. Did you monut your GPS somewhere on the fairing (without drilling holes) or on the handle bars???? And in both cases where did you pull power from??? (Yes I did search, but after 75 pages I gave up)

I have a real nice billet mount that I got from Gilbos44RT, here on HDF, for my Zumo550.

It stands off the handlebar, immediately to the left of the center clamp enclosure.

It's great because it places the unit directly below the speedo & when you're riding it's much easier to glance down to that point than off to the left or right ~ for a traditional girp housing mount.

Default GPS mount

I used the mini Techmount http://www.techmounts.com/products/in combination with a mounting plate and power cable from the HD handle bar mount part #92321-06. That gave me a clean GPS install on the lower part of the handlebars with audio capabilities through the AUX plug on the radio. When I stop the GPS is easily removed for secure storage or cleaning.

I use a RAM Mount for the Garmin 2610 right under the speedo.
