I must've just made it in on the tail end of the last of shipments. My delivery is scheduled for this Friday. In fact, I'm having mine sent to a [size=2]top secret undisclosed remote location just in case any of yoos are looking to get yer hands on a set.
I'm determined to have mine in my SG by Friday evening one way or another

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
I just finished installing the Hogtunes speakers and the Tune Trapper antenna. The speakers kick A$$, the antenna is still being evaluated. I expected to take a slight hit signal level wise, and I did. I just haven't determined how significant of a hit. I turned the radio on inside of the garage and thought...yeah, more volume... alot more volume....how do they sound on the road....so I took a test drive. I rode around town in traffic and they were great. I took them onto the freeway and went to 70 and they were great, I went to 80 and they were still great, I went to 90 and they were still great. I figured any faster and I wouldn't need the radio anyway. If I can hear them at 90, that's more than enough for me!!

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
HAHA....I got lucky I guess. Anyway, it didn't take me too long to get to 90.......and I didn't stay there very long either. Plus, I did it on the freeway with light traffic, I was in an empty spot.

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
Hello PEZ,
Since you are giving a 20 year warranty, I would like to know what material you are using for the voice coil, suspension andn cone? What is the peak value that these 2 ohm's can handle? You say that you went ot a bigger magnet for heat, but I am curious at how much deflection you are getting in travel up and down? What are the overall dimensions of these drivers?
Harley has added XM to the radio, but there is a Sony that you can buy which is a direct dropin. I personally do not want a fairing on my 06 RKC so I am looking to incorporate the Sirius Replay unit with my own version and attach this system to the bike. Keep it small but effective. Any thoughts that you might have to make this happen?
Thanks

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
My SG will be here in about a month. After reading previous posts about the Hogtunes (2ohm) I did a google search for hogtunes and ordered a pair .... well, then I see the "Hogtunes" link for the "forum" crowd and read about the 10% off. I sent PEZ an e-mail asking for the discount .... I get an E-mail today (Sunday) indicating that PEZ credited my Paypal account $10 ..... DAMN!!!! .... and on Sunday!!!!! Now that's freakin service !!!!! Thanks PEZ !

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
Hogtunes installed yesterday. An unbelievable upgrade at a fair price. Pretty much a breeze to install on the SG. If you're still contemplating on whether or not to buy em ---- quit thinking, I was to the point of not even listening to the juke box anymore except at real low speeds. Now I can enjoy the tunes.
