Report on NEW Hogtune speakers

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
Pez,
Can you tell me the difference between the #0902-AA and #1017-AA speakers? I have an Ultra coming in and was looking at the kit for Ultras. I might end up putting the speakers in the fairing lowers so I'm just wondering what the difference is between these speakers over putting (4) #0902-AA on the bike?
Thanks

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
One thing you guys need to remember is that PEZ can't just take these speakers back and sell them as new...He will have to resale as used speakers. He didn't twist your arm to buy the wrong speakers.....and I am certain that he is in business to turn a profit.

RE: Report on NEW Hogtune speakers
Hey Loch
The speakers are virtually the same--except the magnet on the 1017 is smaller to fit the rear speaker boxes. We have loads of room in the fairing, so we put an oversize magnet there--mostly as the extra mass helps release heat from the moving parts of the speaker--making the overall unit more reliable. (I can justify a 20 year warranty with this) If you were to do fairing lowers--I would put the rears (1017-AA) in there as you need the lightest speaker in there you can get. I have NOT tested our speakers in lowers, so weight would be my first concern.

ORIGINAL: Branded
Pez, Do you have a web site that I can read more about your speakers. You say they have a improvement over the Harmam/Kardon?

PEZ' units are also made in china but to a higher specification and quality. 45 watts / channel RMS 90 watts peak. 55Hz - 21KHz response.

I must've just made it in on the tail end of the last of shipments. My delivery is scheduled for this Friday. In fact, I'm having mine sent to a [size=2]top secret undisclosed remote location just in case any of yoos are looking to get yer hands on a set.
I'm determined to have mine in my SG by Friday evening one way or another
