Kickstand Saver.

Kickstand Saver.
I was wondering if any Harley riders here use a kickstand saver everytime they park their bike? I bought a Biker Pad Products.com kickstand saver from J & P cycles, attached to a Kryptonite disc lock cable reminder, attached by a Bass Pro Shops ball bearing swivel. The only issue I have is finding a proper Velcro nylon pouch to mount on the bike that I can access while still sitting on the bike. And yes, I use it when I gas up too. Does anyone else use one or am I alone in this routine? I was curious.

I use one at my work cause I park on the sidewalk by my shop and they paint it to look like red clay tiles so I dont want to scratch it up. I keep mine in my saddle bag protector bag that mounts on the rail in front of my hard bags.

I use one if the ground is soft or the asphalt is soft or may get soft. Mine is a piece of plastic about 4 inches square with a small hole in one corner. I have some black fish line attached to the hole with the other end attached to an old key ring that stays in the left RG glove box. I lift the bike up. Pull the line to retrieve the thing and then wrap the line around it. It's mostly used when I part on grass.

i cut a piece about 6x6 inches of lexan and i use that.. I used to use a piece of fiberglass that i had left over form a hot rod project but i let it go with my other bike and yes its to save the pavement and keep the bike from tipping over in soft stuff not to save the kick stand. I quit using beer cans cause id get drunk and just forget to use the stand altogether
