I do carry a puck but rarely use it. After riding all these years it is pretty easy to tell a "green " parking lot that the stand will sink into. Beer cans do work well in a pinch, but searching for the brand I like before parking is a PITA !

Well then. I though I might have been one of the very few that did this. I figured that some would think it was "over kill". I was told by other Harley riders, it just shows how much you give a s--- about your ride, I guess. I still need to find that nylon pouch though. I don't have saddlebag guard bars on my bike. We'll shall see.

My dealer gave me one when I bought my bike...I use it on asphalt when it is hot

i bought te HD pad-put a string on it. i keep it in the left bag towards the frt-i can raech back wuth left hand, pop the bag open- drop the pad while holding teh string-then loop the string over the mirror. makes it easy to put away.

Use the Harley black coaster, only when I feel the support surface is too soft.

parking lot at work is soft as heck, use one all the time, otherwise the stand sinks over a inch on warm days
