Default SE Pro-One Mufflers & A/C

I've read a number of posts over the past week or so about the SE mufflers and aircleaner with HD download. While I've seen nothing negetive about the SE parts, it's the HD download which has opinions varying from "It's a total waste", to "my bike runs OK with it". Since all this fuel injection stuff is new to me, can someone tell me what the difference is between the Hd download and other alternatives?

The HD download still lets the bike run lean and with a programmer SERT/PCIII you will get the most out of your mods that you do.

Programmer w/dyno tune = BEST

Thanks Cheyenne. Do you know if this is something the dealer would install on a new bike without effecting the warranty?

It depends on the dealer. Some will warranty it if they install and do the tuning while others will tell you it voids the warranty even if they do it. I would talk to your dealer and see what they say.

Also before buying any programmer SERT or PCIII find out what the shop has knowledge in using. Some dealerships don't have a clue what or how to use the SERT while other prefer it over the PCIII.
