Heated seats and grips

Were these covered under your warranty? I purchased this stuff at the time I bought the bike (couple of weeks ago) The parts are in and they are installing today. Since they were purchased at the time I bought the bike and the dealer is doing the install I have to think that they would be covered by warranty. No?

Good point on the gloves. Had heated grips on my lowrider. Next bike I will rather go for gloves!

Ratkiller,
Yes, the dealer warranteed the grips both times but they must be getting tired of this. The normal 90 day warranty on these products was increased to 1 year by Harley-Davidson as customers got shy about buying them. I am not satisfied with the durability of these as it appears to be hit-or-miss. Perhaps the heated gloves would be better but working grips, like BMW has had for years, are wonderful.
