Default Oil drain lines from airbox

Is it worth installing oil drain tubes from the airbox so the oil don't get in the air filter. I have seen a few bikes with the metal braided hoses added on. I know if your oil level is on the high side it tends to blow more oil in. ???

I would not worry too much if it is only a few drops. If it becomes a wet oily mess then yes run a drain.

Easier solution: don't over fill. Even with a "drain" the filter will still soak up any oil sloshed in there. The oil is the result of intake to exhaust imbalance (reversion) so it's a symptom of another problem. The in-to-out ratio is 10-20% intake and 80-90% exhaust balance. Has EFI been re-calibrated for the pipes and filter?

No, its not a lot only a little residue over 1,000 miles or so. I just see them on bikes from time to time. Just want to know if this is a usefull add on or just for show.

I have had a little oil come into every twin i have ever owned. Not saying it is good or bad it has just never botherd me much. I ran a drain on 1 bike but always worried about elements by passing filtration and getting sucked into the engine.
