Default 07 Starter noise

Is there a fix for the awful compensator bang when starting an 07? Maybe aftermarket?

See my post in the trans forum, HD has a brand new Screaming Eagle
compensator. Maybe this will solve the weak '07 compensator
problem??

I'm going to install an aftermarket 30 tooth front sprocket very shortly (I've had it laying on my bench for about 6 weeks) and one of the things it does is eliminate that banging sound, it also is suppose to help the engine started crank over easier because of the improved gear ratio.

My compensator (07) was loose, and after I tightened it, no more bang.
