I inquired about Mustang seats for 2009 model bikes. Here is the response from Mustang Customer Services:

We hope to start production of our 2009 seats in January. Please check

But what I don't understand is that the 2009 HD Parts & Accessories catalog lists several seats as for "08 and later Touring Models". It seems that there wasn't a change in the way the seat mounts between the '08 and '09 models. I wonder what the real deal is?

 

I just put a Badlander on my 09 EG, part #52067-08. It says it is for 08 and later. Worked just fine.
