Default Kuryakyn customer service blows

I have a set of longhorn offset hiway pegs and the cap screws are all rusted in less than 6 months of use.The 08 RKC is inside every night, . I called Kurakyn and they said they would sell me new bolts, can't find receipt, I told them that they would lose my future business over 10$ . I am used to dealing with gun and reloading company's If you have a problem they bend over backwards to make it right.

Kuryakyn has no customer service. Had one of my adjustable passenger pegs (#4570) break in two pieces. When I contacted them, I was told "no warranty" but they did sell me one side replacement for 80 bucks and shorted me the foot peg.

I was in Daytona some years back and had a set of mirrors from them that one of the len's fell out of. Went to their tent and they replaced it no questions. Two days later the other lens fell out! Went back, no prob again, got another one. Sounds like they've changed up a bit.

The only thing that sucks worse than their CS is their chrome.

Cool

They are good at the venues, but bad at the home base... Go figure...

I've had problems with them too over a bad control module in my Panacea tail light. First they told me it was a dealer only item but I managed to find it at Eastern Performance (and they want almost 3x what I paid at Eastern Performance), then they dicked around sending the replacement foam gasket out.

For the most part Kuryakyn has some great ideas wrapped in subpar chorme and rusting bolts.
Just change em for stainless if you want em bright just polish em and forget about the rust.

I bought a Kurakyn highway peg set for the Sportster at Sturgis in 06. They were not cheap by any means. Put them on the bike there. My wife rode it home, 1K miles. At about 2K miles, the left peg fell apart. I looked at the right peg and it was about to fall apart. They just press fit the outer part on the hinging part. Oh, yeah, that'll work on a Harley. I replaced them with genuine HD pegs and they have been fine. I'm done with Kury stuff.

the wife bought a set of their highway pegs for her road king. she got to ride them 2x and then i noticed that the footpeg mount was cracked almost all the way through. took them back to the dealer and exchanged them for genuine hd highway pegs and wife is much happier. plus the hd ones are a little sturdier due to the toothed mounting system as opposed to the goodntight spec of the kuryakyn nut and bolt.
