If chrome rusts, there is a reason not related to the chrome.
I wouldnt warranty rust either.

Actually a good part of the Kuryakyn "rust problems" are bad or no polishing jobs on components. But as far as screws go it is a problem for any chrome screw (unless it is dull tool chrome) to make "show Chrome the chrome is only a couple of millionths in thickness and once you us a a wrench or driver on it it is most likely going to have some of the chrome crack off.
Yes even the might Harley chrome screws and bolts suck...that is why on the 8th Day God gave us stainless steel lol.
SO I definitely agree I would not warranty the screws either but I would provide stainless

Well Skratch thanks for the true confessions.
Turns out that waitress is my cousin and unfortunately she hasn't mellowed lol
Now that she knows who did that to her don't be surprised if one day your ride don't start due to onions and green peppers in the fuel line.
She does hold a grudge lol

Great. That is the exact pair of highway pegs I have now. I love the way you can adjust and set them for long legs, but this cracking chit you've encountered blows. Holding my breath here.

I will stick up for Kurayakyn, as I have called them many times, and they have always been most accomodating to me and my needs.
They have ALWAYS STOOD BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT with me, and replaced anything that has been defective, no matter how old, MUCH so better than the Stealership.
I think that KURYAKYN IS THE BEST!!
