It works flawlessly. Since it is not mechanical the throttle grip doesn't move while it is engaged. THere is no hesitation once you engage it. IMHO it is the best thing about the TBW!

Thumbs down Cruise Control

I have a 08 Electra Glide Standard, this is my 11th HD I have owned. The cruise on my bike works fine but I think it Sucks that the switch to turn it on is on the right side. Let go of the throttle turn it on then set it. Sorry I just think it's a poor design, not as bad as the same old cross over in the exh though! I see the 09's have changed that at least.

+ My thoughts exactly though once set it works great. But then I'm a bagger rookie coming over from a softail.

I have an 08 Ultra and my son has a 07 EG Classic and he indicated that ours are about 1 mph off from each other.

My 08 Ultra works flawlessly while cruise is on. I use a Zumo GPS for my speedometer, and it doesn't change by more than 1 mph up or down hills.

My cruise works perfectly at 8500 miles on my 08 Ultra. Good Gawd people, if you're worried about 1-2 mph + or - then you REALLY need to take a nice long ride and UNWIND. Who cares? Guess I'm not the perfectionist that some people are. No disrespect-just my 2cents.

My works great and I love it. Much better than the throttle lock on my previous bike.
