I am thinking of getting a center stand for parking in tight spots, checking tranny fluid and a few other things, where it would be easier to use a center stand than break out the bike jack. I am curious how many of you have them; your opinions and if they get in the way when needing to use a bike jack.
I have the Wheeldock center stand. It is a "ride-off" stand that does not lift the tire off the ground. You can put a 1" piece of wood under it if you want to raise the tire.
After some practice, I can put mine on the stand while I'm on the bike.

I have the same qusetion about it interfering with putting the jack stand under the bike.
I have a J&S jack. The jack pad is designed to sit in the frame crossmember. The Wheeldock mount on that crossmember. Now the jack pad rests on the two bolts that mount the center stand. No problem at all.
My Wheeldock makes the red Craftsmam jack more stable, the wheels come up at about the same time. I no longer take the bags off before I raise the bike up.
The Wheeldock is very sturdy, appears to be well designed and built, and works very well. Can't help on the jack interference issue....have not had a need to put it on a jack since it was installed a few months ago.
I have the Wheeldock EZ-UP and really like it. I have the craftsman yellow jack, but didn't use it to change fluids - plenty of clearance with the bike on the center stand to get a drainpan under it. I don't see how the Wheeldock would interfere with using a jack though.
