lens melting on rear turn signals

lens melting on rear turn signals
Anyone else having problems with this?
I have the run turn brake conversion kit and put the Kuraykan red bulbs and the smoked lens on the rear
The lenses are melting from the inside
I had it checked and they told me that they were not putting out any more than they are supposed to

sounds like another example of each individual accessory working perfectly, but when you combine them, you end up with a situation that doesn't work. The K. red bulb isn't
intended to be lit ALL the time, the coating absorbs a lot of the light and turns it into heat. Sounds like a good reason to toss the red bulbs and put a set of LED units in there.. nice and cool!
