12" street glide shocks, or arnott air ride kit for the rear . race tech or progressive suspension allows a 1 to 2" drop in the front wouldnt recommend the lowering blocks available on the net. decreases the needed travel angle for the shocks and issues with the fender bottoming out on the tire are numerous
blue, the road king custom already has the 12 in shocks, same as the street glide. thats why i went with the 11-1/2 inch progressives. i don't know enough about the arnott air ride system, too much for my wallet!
Blue, like skratch said I already have the 12in shocks, I would like to go down 1-2 inches. With the progressives how much did that lower it half inch or so? Maybe I'll just go with taller boots.

try both, but really, that extra 1/2 inch from the progressives really made a huge difference. also, what seat are you using? if its stock, then thats gonna make a huge difference also. and as a matter of fact, i just happen to have a corbin classic solo that fits the road king custom. i had to get another seat because the corbin is not compatible with the solo tourpak rack. pm me if you are interested in it.
Same here. Progressive 440's plus a HD lowered front end. I plan to get an Arnott Air Ride so I can get a little lower without bottoming out. Ya gotta admit any bike looks good slammed!

just that extra 1/2 drop makes my bike look badass. course, i could be just a little biased
I have the stock seat on my RKcustom as well, Is there another 2-up seat that fits... that is lower? hard to believe from looking at the stock seat and frame lines that it could get much lower
also, are the 11.5 in progressive 440's air shocks?
