Pissed!
Took my bike in to a dealer a week ago today for a shift shaft seal leak. The seal was replaced about 10000 miles ago by another dealer under the factory warranty.
Yesterday the dealer called and said they should have the seal finished today.Well the SW called and said the tech found a nick on the shaft that was most likely caused from the prior replacement. Now they have to call again to get authorization to go into the tranny under the extended warranty.

I work in the engineering department at a shipyard. You would be surprised at all the broken things our mechanics "find" when they are working on systems. We get reports daily that say "During installation of cable 'found' broken pin on connector". That's just the way it goes when people work on things that are not their own.
