Default 09 UC wheels, Chrome them?

Will get the new bike in two weeks, I like the new wheels a lot, I know some dont but I do. I am thinking about sending them out for chroming atChrome pros or another chromer. Any feedback on the quaity and other suggestions recommendations would be appreciated.

Make sure you post some pics if you go this route. I'm still on the fence about these new wheels. I liked them in the pictures on the HD website, but didn't like them at all when I saw the bikes in person. They could look awesome if they were chromed out though.

I like the wheels the way they are, especially in person. If you chrome them you will have to go further IMO. They will look goddy (SP) by themselfs. I think you would have to chrome at least the front end as well. Just my opinion. Good luck.

IR, yes, first thing is premium oil cooler, luggage rack, chrome front end, chrome floaters, chubby bars, chrome hand controls, chrome calipers . After that D&D slipons, HQ103 or 107, a tuner that I have yet to decide on.Then brandywine ghost flame paint job, probably attitude custom cycles, finished off with a profinish kit. Initial plan as of now, this frikken forum is costing me a lot of $.

I had ChromeProsPlating do my wheels, and they did a FANTASTIC JOB. It's the third year now, and there isn't a mark on them, no pealing, excellent quality. I'll use them again. and wouldn't hesitate one second recommending them to you. Please post the pictures after chroming or PM me with them as I want to do the same thing, I love the 09 touring wheels, and think they would look SUPER chromed. And so much easier to maintain and clean. Good Luck, CCRyder
