When I was working in Japan earlier this year,we all stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Nagoya. Lots of famous people in and out all the time. I remember standing next to Billy Blank of the Tibo fame, That was a scary guy. Nice but you could tell he cool. Then Another day I was waiting in the lobby for someone to come and I ended up talking to Eric Clapton. Another cool guy.

Remember the movie rudy? I watched the movie and found out he lived 2 hours south of me, and called him up and picked him as a client to build his website for his public speaking business about 10 years ago. Took my employees out to lunch a few times, and met with him and his wife a few times. Nice guy. He's not jennifer love hewitt for f*ck sakes, I would trade you. Hell...
Ive met a number of steeler players over the years. Had dinner with franco harris, mel blount once. a few others.
Damn, Jennifer Love Hewitt tho.

An original band I was in did a 6-7 show tour with the '80s bands Warrant and Firehouse. As usual, the lead singers were cocky ********, but the rest of the guys in the bands were great. I actually felt like a rock star for a week. lol... Played some very large venues, had our gear handled by the union stage hands, rode on the big *** tour bus, signed tons of autographs, and other misc. rock star things (that I'd rather not put in writing!)
Here's a shot of me from the side of the stage during a show on that tour. The picture's not too exciting, I know.

Owned a hardware store in the 80's. Had a major golf tournament in Houston. Had a golfer lookin dude and his wife come in to buy some spray paint for his putter. I totally made myself look like a dumb hillbilly from Texas. I finally asked him his name after making myself look like a big time dumbass. After telling me his name I told him I never heard of him before. Said "if you were Jack Nicholas or Arnold Palmer or Sam Snead or somebody like that maybe I would have heard of you before. Called my brother after he left, who is a good golfer, he said "I can't believe you don't know who Greg Norman is? He just won the British open last week."
The funny thing was he realized early on that I didn't know who he was and thought it was hilarious the stupid questions I was asking him. His wife on the other hand was quite perturbed. T.
