FINALLY installed - New Chubby Mini-Apes - Avon Heated Grips
Finally - I have my bike back and so excited I had to share! Chubby Mini-Apes and added Avon Heated Grips. Definitely feel like the 10" were the way to go. Thanks to all who took the time to give advice. Ready to roll next week!
Thanks all! In my hours of brain-damaging research, I did also find out that they changed the Heritage bars starting with the 2009 model. So what I like is probably a little lower than what most people are referring to when they talk about "Heritage bars". I couldn't ever find the exact specs, but I know they were higher starting in 2009. Leaving for a trip next month to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona - so don't have much time to shop around. I decided to go with the Wild 1's WO515 Chubby mini-apes (10"). We can get the internal wiring and I think they are going to be just about perfect. I want to try and add heated grips while making the switch....so, I'm off to start researching that. Appreciate the feedback from all of ya'll!
