I aint moving, I live about 50 miles north of New Orleans. We caught the eye wall of Katrina and was without power for 2 weeks. I have 2 generators on standby and about 60 gal. of gas. I am more scared of the tornadoes that are spawned more than Gustov itself. Good luck to everyone and hold on tight.

Got home from Temple, TX this morning. I found out the hurricane is going into Louisiana. God Bless you people. We have the traffic of people coming through our area, Jasper, Livingston, Huntsville, Moss Hill, and, of course, Rye, TX. We are out of Food and fuel in our stores. The supply train hasn't caught up yet. The local sherriffs department is checking the drivers license of people to make sure you live in the area before they let you off of the evacuation route.
Good luck to you people. If you are on your bike, and need a place to stay for the night, and are from the stricken area, respond. I'll put you up in my RV. I can take six people. My number is 281-787-1734 I'll watch this thread.
Al

We just got word of a mandatory evac. Unfortunately, it's a bit late for that. We'd have to travel several hundred miles before we could even find a room so we're riding it out. We have a handicapped daughter & I won't be caught in a Jeep with nowhere to go with her. We're 50 miles inland though & I've been through hurricanes before. I don't think we'll take a really hard hit. I feel for the folks closer to the coast!

You folks down there buckle up and take care. We will be praying for God to sheer the top off that thing and kill it.
