The real reason we want to add the stage 1 kit. Is to avoid the lean, burn the top off the piston condition, set by the epa.

You wont get what you want.

The Harley Stage 1 upgrade (intake and ECM reflash) is STILL EPA compliant. The flash only compensates for the intake. In the end, it puts you right back at the same lean condition, just compensated for the free breathing intake.

Before: lean

Change intake: extra lean

Stage 1 flash: lean

If you want to get rid of the lean condition, you need some form of tuner.

I believe that the new '09 exhaust is probably a very good unit. The 2-1-2 is very similar to the "X-pipe" that so many fast cars use now. Improves scavenging and low end torque. Seems this new system will do the same. Also, I think it looks great and stops my wife from frying her legs.

Cheers, geeded

I agree completely. The new style exhaust looks great and should be great performing. I installed Screaming Eagle mufflers and am very happy. Saved a lot of money too.

Hey brother, I have the reinharts duals and I think they have a great sound, but sound....exhaust pipes/sound are so passive and everyones ear/sound is so different....you have to hear each sound clip from other HD setups like I did to find that sweet sound you want...Good luck.D
