2002 efi road king
My first post so bear with me.
I have a 2002 fuel injected road king. My problem is this, sometimes when it sits for a week or so I have a problem with it staying running. It will start but will not stay running. It spits and sputters and dies. It will start right back up and do it again. It almost seems like it is not getting fuel. It will try to go and then cut out. But it doesnt do it all the time. It is only every now and then and seems to do it when it has sit for about a week. I can get on it an hour later and she will start up and run fine. I took it to the shop and of course she ran fine all the way there. They kept it for a week and tried to get it to do it again and she wouldnt. Does anyone have a clue what the cure to my problem is? Fuel pump? Injectors need cleaning? I dont know............

I believe for 2002 all bikes have the Delphi. I would do the K.I.S.S. method, first check the obvious. Is your battery fully charged? after a week a battery can get low and then have enough juice to start the bike, but not enough to keep it running.
If you don't have a Harley Service Manual, go get one.
