What bike does your wife ride?

She rode for a 3 years on the back of my Classic then at age 40 she surprised me by
asking if she could ride her own after seeing a few Women in the HOG Group we use
to be in ride their own. It was weird because I have been riding since I was 16 and
we have been married for 29 years and I would have taught her long ago if she wanted.
Well after riding her 2000 Sporty for 2 years (6,000 miles) she got a 2002 FXD which
now has 30,000 miles and in 2006 she got a 2007 SG and it has 14,000 miles.
I must say even thou I like having a small group to lead and chat with at rest/gas
stops. Sometimes the BEST riding is when "WE" ride alone together because she has
ridden with me so much she keeps up to me (99% of the time) no matter how fast
I ride. Well in a straight line that is, because I can throw the bike around easier through
the corners then her and she will not ride over her head. On of the fondest memories was
riding up to Laconia in 2007 doing 85 mph up Rt.93 in the left lane blowing by packs of
other bikes that were riding in the right lane and she was there right behind me doing
the same and LOVING IT !

The wife rode on the back for about year before she decided that it was time to add another hog to the barn,
I gave her the choice of remodeling the kitchen that she hated for years, or a new bike.
Of course she picked the bike now she rides a 06 street bob.
That was a great decision because I was not looking forward to playing bob villa,
Now that she paid precious off [don’t ask about the bikes name it’s a long story] she is all ready talking about buying a street glide for long trips.
I told her she has to pay mine off before she gets another bike!! I think it may have been cheaper to remodel the kitchen at this point ??

When not on the back of my King, locally she rides her completely restored 1973 Honda CB350f four cylinder .But I wont let her ride it very far out of town, the bike will run 70 with no problem, but she seldom gets over 50,which is about 3rd gear on my king. She does want a sporty though. So maybe when she gets it,she be alittle more brave and do 60.
