Default King Backrest on Chopped TourPak?

If you've done this, how did you go about determining exactly where to drill the extra holes for the King Backrest. I've got the chopped unit with the sporty backrest, and now the wife says she'd really like a full sized unit. I shouldn't have ever taken her on that ride with the new Victory Vision.

The new one should come with a template if not look at a friends or dealers bike. The lids are the same.

That's good advise. Maybe I could just get the template from the dealer. Just looking at a friends isn't going to help me much, as you really need to be precise when you start drilling that brand new lid. Thanks

He's right. Mine came with a paper template. The only thing, best I can remember, is that I think I left one bolt in an old hole under the new backrest because that is where the lid stop cable was fastened. I can look when I get off work in the morning if you need the info....it's no big deal though. I hated drilling those new holes since I never saw the King pad installed on a chopped. I guess for me since the lid bra I have on has slots for the King rest if all else failed and I did't like it I could plug the holes and they wouldn't show. My wife likes the higher back though.
