Default Why not Vance & Hines exhaust?

In the Dyna world, there are no pipes better than Vance & Hines! Now that I got a Bagger, everyone's telling me to go with either Rhineharts & Rush? Why? What's wrong with V&H's on a bagger? Don't sound as good? I gotta get rid of these stock exhaust that you can't even hear after 4th gear...what do you guys recommend & why? Pics?

Roush???? Do you mean Rush??? I hope so because I didn't think Roush was making exhaust for Harleys.

As far as V&H there is nothing wrong with them at all. Lots of people run the Dresser Duals, Basic Slip-ons, Pro Pipe and the Monster Ovals are starting to become popular as well. Exhaust opinions are as varied as color choice. Do some searching here for reviews of different exhaust. And go to a local bike night and listen for that perfect sound. Then find out what they are.

I'm all about the D&D. 2-into-1 power and looks. I actually like the sound too. It's not as "Harley" as a true dual, but I still love it.

Love the Vance&Hines Ovals with a True Dual headers sound great, look even better(especially since I had them ceramic coated black ) and got nice power out of them. I won't put anything else on my bikes
