Default Who has more than just a bagger?

Hello everyone. I recently purchased (well repurchased) a softail standard and am curious how many others have a bike other than just their bagger. My main bike is a 2007 FLHX with a HQ 103 build. I love this bike. When I originally purchased the SG I traded in my 2003 FXST (Softail Std). Maybe it is nostalgia but I really missed my first HD. So after keeping an eye on Craigs List and Ebay I found a great deal on a used 100th Anniversary FXST just like my original bike.

My question to all is do you find yourself using both bikes or do you always lean towards one? Which one do you lean towards? Why do you choose that particular bike?

I rode the new bike yesterday in the heat and did feel much cooler without the fairing. However I know on long rides I will want the fairing. Not to mention when I am out with certain friends who are all into perfomance there is no way I am going to ride anything other than the SG unless I rebuild the motor on the FXST. However any money I spend on more motor go fast goodies will likely go into the SG (124"?)

I have not titled the new bike yet and before paying sales tax on it and paying for registration I am considering selling it because I fear I will always ride the bagger. I know I can make over $1K selling it. The good news in all of this is I paid about $3.5K less for this bike than I got on trade when I bought the SG. And the trade was not overvalued when I bought it as the dealer also took $1500 off of the SG.

Thanks guys I appreciate your opinion. I guess there are worse problems to have.

"05 FLHPI and "00 Buell S3T. Around town and in the rain I ride the Buell. Cruising is the RK. Don't like to ride the RK in the rain only because it is so time consuming to get the road grime off of it. Buell cleans easily.

I also wanted to have a bar bike and a bagger so I kept a awsome 03 Fat boy that was completely laid out with chrome wheels rotors pully beach bars chrome everywhere Corbin solo ect ect. It was the bike everyone crowded around any where I would go. I bought a 99 ultra that was very nice with a solo seat and a QR tour pack and kept both. The 1st season I only rode the fat boy 3 times for a total of 300 miles. I thought because the bagger was new to me I would ride the Fat Boy more next season. Half way through the 2nd season I had not riden the Fat Boy at all and didnt really want to, so it went for sale and sold right away so I traded the 99 ultra for a 08 and could not be happier. I never looked back I put a solo seat on the 08 and a QR tour pack and now I have the best of both worlds. Thats what happened to me not saying you will do it that way but I did

Fatboy and a ultra. I really prefer the ultra but the fatboy is a headturner, so it goes out when I don't need to carry anything and no chance of rain. Wife likes it and says I can't sell it. Mike

Have a 2002 Fatboy and 07 SG. SG has not been riden in a while. First had back surgery and then I decided to get painted which I will get back @ the end of this week. Still like the fatboy over the bagger.

I have my chopper and my Ultra. I ride both equally. Although I did take the Bagger to Sturgis for the past two years. 5 years riding my rigid 450 miles each way was enough for me.

I own a 1952 CZ aka Jawa...1972 Triumph 750 Bonneville...06 KTM 525 Enduro license for the road (the most awesome off road bike I have ever owned)...400 Yamaha Kodiak 4x4 used for work and hunting...07 Ultra, 103 HQ, Primo Rivera clutch, SE Stage 1, Fatcat Quiet, best touring sled my wife and I have ever owned....

Ultra...525 KTM...4 wheeler are the only ones I use which obviously have different purposes.

I have a 07 road king and a 05 gsxr1000. When I want to go fast jump on the sport bike. Last year took the gsxr on a 4000mile tour. Took the same ride this year on the King, more comfy. I ride each about the same mileage a year. One can never have too many bikes.
